TOKYO FASHION EDGE, published by Beauty Business, is a bimonthly magazine for beauticians. We assisted in the art direction and design for the complete relaunch of the building.

Because it is a subscription magazine, we eliminated the eye-catching and inflammatory elements that are required when selling in bookstores and convenience stores, and aimed to create an appearance like a single painting in a hair salon for the two months until the next issue is published. The cover is structured to have only the bare minimum of elements and, like the credit notation on the artwork, the number of issues stands alone in numbers.

The logo design was designed to give the overall impression of calmness while giving the impression of sophistication and lightness, and was placed in such a way that the visibility of each issue varies depending on the brightness of the underlying photo, and the cover photo always stands out to the best of its ability.

Along with the alteration of the brand image, the selling price was doubled to achieve commercial success, while at the same time, the relaunch was achieved in a way that drove the aesthetic consciousness of more likeable beauticians.
