PRINTSince its publication by Iwanami Shoten in 1955, Kojien has become a japanese dictionary with 11 million readers.
To commemorate the publication of the sixth edition of Kojien, the first revised edition in 10 years, we created the visual design for a collaborative advertisement.
The fact that “Kojien” has many foreign readers makes it easy to understand at a glance, and the change from the 5th edition to the 6th edition was expressed through a design and typography that uses black and white symmetrically.
