As a comprehensive manufacturer of ballet and dance equipment, Chacott Co., Ltd. is developing its business under the concept of “doing good to dancers.” As part of its brand strategy to appeal to the corporate stance of Chacott Co.
The design theme for Chacott’s Fall/Winter 2016 ballet season wear is “Palpitation”. It was designed to express not only the superficial beauty of the top dancers, but also their earnestness, effort, and sweat, which the audience usually cannot see, but also the strong feelings behind them.
In addition, the key visual, which is a veil-like superimposition of two photos of a full body pose and a close-up of her upper body, expresses the inner workings and core strength of O’Neill Yana’s heart. Considering that the visuals will be used all over the world for ballet performances and competitions overseas, we designed the visuals alone to convey the message by eliminating the copy of “To live is to dance” and the text elements other than “Hanna O’Neill supported by Chacott”.
